This nipple will reduce the possibility of leakage due to heat and cooling cycles of the pump. The nipple also makes it easier to access the pump’s Cam & Ram Lid. The 2” PVC union easily glues to the nipple for future serviceability of the pump. Order 2 for both discharge and suction. Will need a 1-1/2” reducer bushing if 1-1/2” piping connects to your existing pump.
